I've got a plug-in air freshner that fits into an ordinary 240v domestic socket, and produces a pleasant aroma from a small container holding a oily fragrance.
I'd like to refill with a selected fragrance of my own, but what is the oily fragrance composed of ? Is it just the fragrance, or is another, thinner oil required (?) with some fragrance in it ?
Getting quite interested in this and would appreciate any pointers

Providing that you can open the container without damaging the fragrance container, you use any suitable fragrance medium.

I use the Zoflora range of fragrant & antibacterial (concentrated) in my plug-in fresheners. 1 will buy a 120ml bottle, sufficient to refill the small container 5 times over.

I particularly like the Bouquet fragrance, you should find something you like from their range you might like to have different fragrances in each of your rooms.

Thanks Hymie, that hadn't occurred to me but have Zoflora so will try tomorrow.
