How do clean copper that hasn't been cleaned for ages?!!!

You can use tomato sauce to clean copper leave on for 15 minutes then wipe clean,or you can use a mixture of vinegar,salt and flour make into a paste then rub in to copper, rinse with clean water then shine it up with a duster

Theres stuff called T-cut, its for restoring car paintwork.

It brings copper and brass up like brand new.

 

I heard it was BROWN sauce, not red. Coca-Cola will clean copper if you soak it in it for a while. I use stuff like Brasso or Duraglit or similar.
