I have managed to get out of a Zenith windows appointment today. They called and asked if we wanted a quote and I said they could come back. I then looked on internet and saw horror stories of 2.5+ hours of hard sell from them so cancelled. Has anyone experienced their sales pitch? Is it always like that?

Years ago I had the job of running a d/g salesman around because he had lost his licence.
When he'd done his pitch, I often picked him up four or five later from the same house

If you ever need to get rid of a salesperson....say ..''You look like a very nice man, you would 'nt do me a favour and empty my commode would you''..

You'll be on your own in a flash..!

Thank you Alavahalf. That confirms what others said. One person on the internet said the salesman came before 9 pm and didnt leave until 12.30am. There were all the signs there in what they said to me. Will you and your husband be there. We need show houses in the area. When do you want this doing. (Me we dont, you are offering a quote and I wanted to see what it would cost).
Go to a few local firms, look in yellow pages. Visit their premises and tell them you want one quote only and no sales pitch. You should get a much better deal.
I hate Zenith, though I have never (nor would I) used them.

As a postman, I suffer when they install something, because the moment it is completed, they flood the surrounding streets with mailshots.
