Rotary clothes line
10 Answers
Can anyone help me find a rotary clothes line that does not have to be pushed up or pulled up by a rope please. I am looking for one that winds up to open it.
I have had an operation and have very little use in my right arm now.
Many thanks in advance.

It's a bit pricey but guaranteed for ten years.

Hello Lynb.
Many thanks for your answer. I have been on the Lakeland site and had a look. I am afraid it is the same as the one I have now but many thanks for thinking of me.
I really do need a power assisted one as I have no use in my arm....I am totally useless really but don't want to give into things.
Thanks again.

Hi whiskeryron (what a lovely name)
Thanks for your reply Ron.
I have had a good look at it and it seems that it has a foot pedel that you use to get it to lift from the ground but you still have to push it up and lock it in place, rather like a brolly has to clip into place. That is the bit I have a problem with. Following my op I just can't push up to lock it., I just don't have the strength.
Heck wouldn't you think that someone out there among the rotary line manufacturers would have come up with something that is power assisted for the disabled and the elderly? Maybe they will read this and do something about it - well, one can only hope eh:-)
