Bosch Classixx Dishwasher

Bought a second hand dishwasher today. Got it all plumbed in, but it does not appear to be working. It fills a bit and then pumps out and does not heat the water.

Can anyone suggest a) where I can get an instruction book from, please (ebay purchase! - don't say a word!!!!) and any reason why this wretched thing is not working?

Please help, otherwise the damn thing may end up in the lake.
