My feeling is that so long as everything is marked out so that the spaces alllocated are right, it won't be that big a deal what order you do it. Hi Tallypot,

I take it that you have plans of your new kitchen? are you fitting it yourself or is it being fitted by a professional kitchen fitter. If a professional fitter is fitting it the he wll decide in what order it will be done.

Generally speaking before installing your kitchen, Gas - Electricity - and water pipes would normally be installed before the units. Base units first - Wall units next - then worktop, sink and appliances.

Just be sure that the pipes & cables are in place because they would be a pain to retrofit.
