A relative had a nose bleed poor thing, but it went on my new cream sheets. I have tried everything I can think of- soaking in salt, pre-wash stain removers, cold washes, hot washes, different products, but the stain will not come out. I don't want to bleach it as the sheets aren't white. Any ideas as to what I can do?
Thanks in advance.

These stain removers are no where near as good as they make out.
Once you have used a variety of treatments, they tend to set the stain if they don't remove it.... it may be a lost cause now.
Apparently shampoo is the answer

Was it really a nose bleed, or is said relative now part of your patios foundations?
And Filbert killed the relative in his best new cream sheets - I dont think so.

lol Bob, will try shampoo. Thanks all
Maybe filbert killed the relative WITH his best cream sheets???
Soak in cold water overnight, and then rub salt into the stain, then wash.
Sadly though as it sounds as if the stain is a bit old by now, not even this may lift it.
yes, Mr Veritas is right, but you need to do it right away, maybe too late now!...........
Wise after the event I'm afraid but bloodstains must be soaked in water within a fairly short time (whereupon they usually wash out easily) or they tend to become set. But best of luck with the shampoo.
