Fault on Luxor Colour Tv

I have a Luxor SX9 Colour Tv, Model 5644. When it is first put on, it can take half an hour or more before it produces a picture. I thought it was the Tuner faulty, so I removed it and sent it to MCES for repair. It came back "repaired" with the proviso that I should investigate the components in the tuning stage. At this point I am lost, does any body have any experience with these sets, if so, could you give me some ideas as to where to look. I do have the necessary equipment to carry out repairs/replacements, if some one can tell me which are the likely parts please
