central heating

I've recently had a combi boiler and new radiators replaced, but not the pipework as I was assured it would be fine. Unfortunately I have just bled one of the radiators and a certain amount of water escaped and it was black! Will this harm the new boiler? Many thanks.

Most of the gunge would have been in the old rads. What's in the pipework shouldn't be that much, but it would be a good idea to get rid of it anyway. I just wish your plumber had done the same :o(
