Apart from using lemon slices floating on bowls of water, please can anyone tell me how to banish fresh paint smells - gloss paint in particular?

Thank you all for your suggestions.
Having the windows open & radiators turned off was obviously the first thing I did, but it takes quite a while to get rid of gloss paint odour & I need a short cut.
I will use the candles & onions today as you kindly suggested. Nothing like throwing everything in at once!!
