how and where do the seeds come from?


is it the same for things like parsnips?

Degenerate, hello, well as you know Carrots are a root crop and like all plants will flower and produce seeds. If you leave a carrot in the ground long enough it will run to seed i.e. will produce a spike of flowers and then from the flowers seeds can be collected. Exactly the same for all root vegetables such as parsnips. Hope this helps.
