Large Blood Stain
15 Answers
I had a Nose Bleed whilst asleep and have ended up with a large stain in a prominent place on the front of my shirt. I have managed to get rid of most of it but there is still a noticeable mark left.
Can anyone recommend a good remover ?
Thanks

Always immerse bloodstains in several changes of cold water, asap but even if some time after the bleed. This allows water to penetrate and lift the blood cells. Even warm water cooks the red blood cells causing them to fix to the fibres of the fabric and become a total beggar to remove.
So, keep soaking in cold water and also rub neat laundry liquid into the stain prior to soaking. Literally leave in a bucket of cold water for a couple of days, then into washing machine.
