If a LCD television was on a shelve 12" above a radiator would the closeness to the radiator have any adverse effects of the television when the radiator is switched on?

How does the butter warmer in my Fridge door work? There is no wire from the actual fridge(s) to the door so why is there a 3-way switch, it is obviously is not electrical....

Two routers in one house? One for upstairs and one for downstairs. I can get a signal for my pc upstairs but it is too weak to connect properly to the internet. I've got a router dongle thing.
