I recently went on a ski hol and my watch stopped working but now I'm back home, it seems ok. Does anyone know if high altitude can affect watches? Thanks :o)

In Brugge a few weeks ago it was -10C. My electronic watch and my digital camera both stopped working.

The main thing that affect both you watches and camera is not altitude but low temps. Batteries are affected by temperatures both high and low. Hence the reason why the 1st thing to go wrong when the first frost of the autumn usually is car batteries failing. The same happens to small batteries in your electrical equipment! But once they warm up they can usually come back to life.
