Anyone know the engine size on one of these?

Considering it's 3500bhp, i should think the engine size is somewhat substantial!

in fact, just realised it's electric driven, wont be measure din litres, probably more like a million volts!
Well... actually it's a diesel electric ...like a lot of rail locomotives. the enormous diesel engine on the thing drives a generator which in turn provides DC electric which is then converted (more accurately, inverted) to AC to enormous electric motors at each wheel...
Their used here in the western U.S. to haul coal out of the open pit coal mines as well as the uranium mines...
It is the diesel engine that's rated at 3500HP though.... it's quite a large engine (look at the bloke in the background)

OH and it's a V18 77.6litre twin turbo engine.
It's so big (helpfully holds arms open wide to indicate size)
