You'd be far safer to send it via Hong Kong, then get the recipient to send a truck along to pick it up from there. Can't be too careful when it comes to breakfast cereals.

I lived there - we carried it in.

In 1993 it was more than $US 10 a pack for Kellogs.

Check with your local Post Office. They can look up a list of restrictions and prohibitions for each country.
