No Sound On My Tv

Just switched my TV on and there is no sound, checked mute button, volume etc and all seem ok, it was working fine a couple of hours ago! I have a Sky box. Any ideas out there in what the problem is. I have tried turning it off and on but no luck. Thanks for any help.

Have you tried turning the Sky box off and on again?

turn if off at the plug at the wall and leave it for 15 minutes - if it does not work can you check that your batteries in the remote control are ok.

Mine does that sometimes. As pinky and conne say, turn the sky box off at the socket and wait a few minutes. Works for me!

It is often that the scart lead isn't clicked in fully - tge sound is the first thing lost if the connection is poor.

If it happens again give the scart plugs between Sky box and telly a good shove.

This happens to me on a regular basis (and we have sky multiroom, if there's no sound on one then it's not working on the other either). 5 seconds off at the mains always rectifies it but I don't know why.
