Kindle Fire E-Mail

Got a Kindle Fire at Christmas, and I'm enjoying "playing" with it. However, I've set up a Kindle e-mail account name, and sent a couple of test messages from my PC.
The problem is I don't know how or where to find them on the Kindle. I've looked in the manual, and searched the help page, to no avail.
I'm sure it's simple, but so am I, I think.
Can anyone help, please?

I've not got any type of Kindle but I've been looking at this:

It's primarily about setting up an email account (which I know isn't what you're asking about) but by reading just sections 1, 2 and 8 your answer appears to be as follows:

Tap 'Apps'
Tap 'Email'
Tap 'View Your Inbox'
