Is it possible to edit photos/description of an item after you've posted it for sale on ebay? I'm guessing not.

you can defo edit after you've posted & you can probably add more photos - there should be an "edit" to click on somewhere in your description

Thanks roslyn, I thought there might be an issue of changing something after people have bid on it? I only want to put better photos on..
Since you've received a bid you can add new pictures (but not change existing ones) if there are more than 12 hours left for the listing:
http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/sell/revising_restrictions.html
There will always be a need to correct unintentional errors. Bet a record of changes is kept though.
My understanding is that you can correct anything, but different rules apply once you have started to receive bids on an item. If you are changing photos, it would be worth adding a note to the item description to explain this.

My only experiences of this have been a) when I was bidding on something (not selling) - when the seller amended the description, eBay sent me an email to say that the buyer had amended the description and "you might want to take a look at the item to see if this changes your mind about bidding for it". ... and b) I have added new photos whilst selling, if someone's asked for a closeup or a different view of the item.
PS it's very easy to revise a listing otherwise - just open up the item on your screen, and you'll see "revise item" at top left of the page.

I'm not sure if there's a bid yet (OH's account) it only went on last night and a few people had looked. It's a coat of mine and OH's photos of it are total carp. Why would men think a coat looks best undone and a bit scrumpled lying on a bed :-)
If there's no bid then there's no problem - you can go into Revise, then delete your OH's photos and add new ones. if there is a bid then all you can do is add more, and make a comment in the description. You can always use the sideway arrows under the photos to make sure that YOUR photo is the one that shows first on the description listing!
