im 65 in August what happens when i get my pension do i have to reapply or what happens

So nothing will change except you will also receive your state pension.
and watch out for your tax code changes i had 9 in three weeks,the female at the then tax office said it is the worst time when anyone retires for this !
took 2 months to get it right
Apologies if you're ahead of the game already but you don't get the State Pension automatically, you need to apply for it and can do so up to three months before you reach 65. See: http://www.ageuk.org.uk/money-matters/pensions/state-pension/
and scroll down to the relevant paragraph. In your case it will be some time in May. Good luck.
