Holiday Hire Mobility Scooter

A family member wants to take myself and other half to the Lake District for a weeks holiday.

I have my own mobility scooter but, as their would be 4 persons traveling in the vehicle there won't be room to take it.

We have wondered about hiring when we get there, but not sure where to check it out in the chosen area.

Anyone have experience about this please.

Did this for a similar situation, holidaying in Devon, and it's far better than lugging your own all that way in a normal size car.
But as it's the Lakes - check around the locations you intend to visit - could get very limited use if you were staying say in Grange and intending not to drive much, but lots of use in say Keswick.
