I Have Smart Phone And Tv But Can I Send The Pic From My Phone To The Tv?

Grateful for advice on how to - if it can be done that is - transmitting/sending a film from an app to my TV screen. Jus to see a bigger picture. Nothing fancy.

I use an Android phone and a Chromecast as suggested by Buenchico, and can cast to the TV.

Whether it works for Apple phones, I don't know. It certainly would for the BBC iPlayer app, and YouTube app. However I can also cast what is in my phone's screen, and that might not be possible.

wow thanks I had no idea such things existed. Definitely getting one!!
I have a smart phone and smart tv I just cast my phone to the tv (screen mirroring ) and it picks it up straight away can watch anything on my phone then via the tv
