Freesat Box

2 years ago my tv was stuck on the BBC news channel and (with the help from AB ers) I replaced the freesat remote. Today my tv is stuck on BBC2 channel, the freesat box is not responding to the remote and neither is it responding to the manual buttons on the front of the box. It is about 10 years old Fox sat-hd Humax box. Would you assume that it is the box that has gone?

Have you tried unplugging the box from the mains for 30sec and then replugging it?

We have one remote that plays up every so often, following manufacturers advice over the 'phone, we remove the batteries then hold down the on/off button for 45 seconds then it's fine for a week or two.

Kazal - glad it worked for you. We have a Humax Freeview box which seizes up every now and again and pulling out the mains lead works for ours.
