changing 110v to 240v

Hi, I am thinking of buying a new mitre saw for work but the one I am intresed in is 110v. Now I prefer 240v Is it easy and cheap to change the Voltage?

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.Hi Bobby, you would be doing yourself a favour if you use the 110v drill with a 230/110 transformer because any shock you might receive froma damaged cable etc...will be less dangerous. But anyway it is very difficult to change a single phase motor voltage because basically you would have to rewind the motor completely.
