Most supermarkets seem to have the same kind of marble/stone type tiles which are laid so level and seamless. I saw some being dug up in our store recenly and was amazed to see how the repair was completely invisible even though that floor is probably 20 years old. What is the name for this type of floor tile and can it be bought for domestic situations?

Hi Woofgang, I thought a mezzanine was a floor between two floors? I can't find any reference to it being floor tiles as well.

Yes but the actual floor tiles are probably poly-propalyne based and have aluminium thread running through them for hard wearing attributes.

They are available in all sorts of colours, search on gooooooooooooooooooooogle for industrial floor coverings. They're quite cheap.
