Every morning when I go into bathroom or kitchen my eyes start to water and become red. It never happens in any other rooms in house...it may sound silly, but I wonder if it is something to do with the water. The bathroom is over the kitchen.

Anybody got similar experiences or any thoughts .

if it onl happen i the morning, it seems unlikely
Yes..constantly. Usually it's mainly in the mornings but now hay fever season is setting in.
Try some antihistamines. I might be hayfever.
It could be a combination of hay fever and something else.

Back in my teaching days, I would hardly notice my hay fever most of the time but it sensitised my eyes and nose to some things which wouldn't bother me at other times of the year. For example, I had to minimise my use of the blackboard as far as possible because the smallest amount of chalk dust would produce hay fever symptoms.

Similarly (and possibly importantly here) walking into a room with a humid atmosphere would start my eyes and nose itching and streaming.

So, based upon my own experiences, I suspect that you might have hay fever which is unnoticeable most of the time but 'set off' by a humid atmosphere.

Try taking loratadine tablets. A month's supply only costs a couple of quid in Asda:

What happens if you open the window?
Thank you for your full history which is vital.
Allergic eye symptoms, non seasonal and only happens in the bathroom........that is a typical story of mould allergy in a room that is hot and humid.
get a plumber or other professional to check you bathroom for mould...particularly black mould.
P.S see your GP for blood tests and skin tests to confirm or exclude the diagnosis.

In the last few months I've had the same symptoms, wet to see the Pharmasist, who told I had 'Dry Eyes' and bought a tube of Chloramphenicol Eye Ointment, (others are available) it worked a treat no more problem.

'Went even, not wet, ^^^^ , it's far too early!!!!
I recommend a holiday!!

Well, only that would eleminate you having these symptoms in the morning anyway, regardless of the rooms in your house.
