Green Energy Companies Query?

Hi Is it true that Green Energy Companies are cheaper for Gas & Electricity? Is anybody on this site with a Green Company and if they are what do you think.Any Recommendations would be great. Thanks.

I'm with bulb - they're Green I'm sure. I think they are excellent and Customer Service is very good indeed. They gave me a refund of £10 once because I had to wait together 6mins on the phone. And they have emailed me to say I've been paying too much. And by the way I have found them cheaper than the Big 6.

My electric is supplied by SSE but I don't pay them for it. Same with the phone - its BT lines but I don't pay BT.

So how can you guarantee that you are getting green energy!

Everyone gets energy down the same wires from the grid, but...
Bulb, Octopus etc use their customers' money to buy green energy from the generators to put into the grid.
