I am paying for the delivery and I am paying for the produce why does the company think its OK to try and charge me a small order fee its not fair. Im paying for the food and the delivery why do they need a small order fee it is rude and I not going to pay at all now, I will forget my produce.

right on!
see if you can work it out.
What are you buying and from whom?
Rip off Britain.
Because it would cost the company more than their profit if they delivered £3 worth of goods to your door for a £5
gulliver, are you saying this doesn't happen in any other country?

it was for some food I wanted a sandwich from the shop delivered and I go online and they charge me for a sandwich, they charge me for delivery, they give me a service charge for using the online approach and then I get to payment and they want £3.50 small service charge which is the same price as the sandwich. I'm not happy I've missed lunch now.

im not paying £10 for a £3 sandwich how do they expect to sell food on there
Wow! that is some rip off.
How much do you think it would cost to pay a guy independently to go and get it for you ? I hope that helps put it in perspective.

The service charge wasn't a fixed price either it was just 5% of the order I thought well if I pay a small order fee then the service charge will go up also

Canary42 i had no problem with the delivery fee it was the "small order fee" which was more expensive than my actual order thank you very much. I would happily pay a man £5 to go and get me a sandwich as long as he didn't say to me "you have to buy two sandwiches else I will charge you an extra £3 on top of that delivery".
Could you not have gone to the shop and bought the piece there?
they expect people to say well thats a lot, perhaps ill get a drink too, and crisps and perhaps a sandwich for tomorrow too
Sorry, needtoknowplease, I missed that point.
I don't think I have EVER ordered a meal delivered. Sometimes go out & get a takeaway but if I'm eating at home I make it myself.
What's their website?
It costs the same to deliver a 3 pound sandwich as it does to deliver a hundred pounds worth of food. Cost of the sandwich is irrelevant. If you don't like the delivery charge pick up the sandwich yourself.

You are paying for
1. The petrol to get to your premises
2. The wages of the driver
3. Insurance of the driver
