I thought I'd make a new thread so this man been on about in previous thread so I know from the dog's home had a strop other day as manager said he had to wear thier hi vi's vest with dogs home branded on when walking dogs. The manager didn't like my yellow jacket that he use to wear for work, and told him he had to wear one of theirs. So he told her that it was the lowest form of management "do as I say, not do as I do", as her and her staff never wear one, and that they should be setting an example to us walkers. She said I haven't got enough time to talk to you about this now, I said, "well you chose now to start it", and carried on, so it went from there. The staff wear thier uniform branded with dogs home. He hasn't been back since and not heard from him much either only when ge gave me a bag of treats to give to the dogs.

Well, if it's mandatory, he'll have to wear it - or he won't get to be a volunteer. It'd be a good thing for you if he didn't come back, as you seemed to have got in an awful muddle with him - finding him creepy months ago, going out for dinner with him last week and so on.I think you should move on from this old guy now. I'm sure you'd rather concentrate on finding and...

No and not till 2nd now

Thanks Abbey - it was just that you said on Monday (on another thread) that you were going to doctor on Wednesday anyway so I thought he/she would have checked your arm when you were there.

Question Author

No it's slightly better now.

Did the laundry know you were taking the whole of this week off? Did you let them know not to expect you in all week?

Hope you weren't out walking any dogs or seen around town shopping if you were on sick this week.

Again, if..IF...this man is interested in you as more than a friend, why, in the 4 months since you told us he makes you uneasy, have you not told him you're not interested?

Why continue accepting lifts and meals out from him?

Why keep asking us if you should go out with him/ him and his friend(s)?

Do you just like the attention, Abbey?

Question Author

Yes they know and yesterday I'd booked day off anyway

Question Author

Like I said since my mum said be careful with that man I haven't been out with him since

So will there be no pay from work this week?

Question Author

Yes for last week

"Moorea Not my fault he never had one of his own"

Did Moorea or anyone suggest it might be your fault? It seems to me you're using smokescreens here to avoid addressing the advice you've been given. There should be no connection between your getting a new boyfriend and your interactions with this man.

Question Author

No that to him I mean why if I did get one I wouldn't be able to go out with him anyway like I did and even said I don't want to grow old and lonely

I'll pass on trying to decipher that until you can repost with sentences, preferably including punctuation.

Abbey, I 'wouldn't be able to go out with him anyway'? I thought you were stopping all that because of the comments from your mum (and people here too... though that took months to sink in!) I think you're doing an awful lot of 'oh well, this'll do' when it comes to relationships and friendships as well as to jobs.

Question Author

If I did have boyfriend do you think I would with him like I was? Also I don't want to be old and lonely so that not my fault if he want to stay single so I can hang out with him and its to late for him to be where I'm hoping to be going forward

Sigh!

... and where are  you 'hoping to be going forward'?

Question Author

To have a partner/husband and family

//if he want to stay single so I can hang out with him//

Really???

Again, do you like the attention, Abbey?
