Crabs have the ability to regenerate its limbs after autotomy. This is an evolved ability for survival. When the crab loses a limb and is in the process of regeneration,
1. Typically how long does it take for the limb to grow back to its original size, if at all? E.g. after one moult?
2. Would the regeneration trigger an earlier moult?

I googled this, as it interested me, and there are so many different types of crabs, and they generally take different times to regenerate, if you google, 'regeneration of crabs claw', you'll get all your info there.
