i think it originated in like Isreal, there was this geezer and his mrs. they owned a donkey and......


i believe there was an immaculate conception... i think ive ruffled enough feathers this week to keep bernard mathews upset for a month or more.

Immaculate Conception means: i was at it with my neighbour but dont tell my husband.

Now, not that I don't believe or anything, but couldn't it have been Joseph, and they just didn't want to own up to it. I think women used to get stoned to death in those days, for having sex before marriage. Maybe Joseph loved her, and so he supported her story to protect her.


Or maybe it was God.

I've heard that the I M is not the birth of jesus but the birth of his mother ! I could be wrong now.
Yes, immaculate conception is the doctrine that Mary, mum of the christ-child, was born without original sin. It was actually added to christian doctrine quite late, because some theologians got to thinking, hang on, you can't have the son of god born to a woman who is tainted by original sin. Of course the whole "original sin" thing is barmy anyway, but that's the way theologians think, apparently.
