Washing Up
7 Answers
I've just done my washing up - used detergent and washed the plates well - i've left them in my drainer and they've started to smell like wet dogs. This happens quite a lot. When I rinse them under the cold tap - the smell sometimes goes away, but more often than not i've got to wash them a few times. Any ideas why this is happening? Thanks in advance.

They can get quite scummy quite quickly so it's possible that is the problem. As i say, don't take offence! My flatmate is a kind of weird semi-clean-freak - yet he doesn't seem to understand that it's not just the immediately obvious dirt that needs wiping away but that you actually need to pick stuff up and clean underneath, too... :)
