How can I stop getting static shocks from my children when I'm on the trampoline with them. It's getting to the stage where I'd rather not go on it as the shocks are quite painful!

Wear wellies?

oooooo how about a pair of Marigolds on your hands?

Don't let the children on it.

lol

It's possible that the working of the spring support system on the trampoline could cause static electricity buildup of some kind. Why don't you try suspending a cable, chain or other metallic material from the frame of the trampoline near where the springs are attached to the mat and make sure it reaches the ground. Even better would be to drive a nail in the ground and attach the chain to it. It might help ground the trampoline...Can't hurt...
What about wearing thos latex verucca socks that people wear for swimming?
