flourescent light bulb change

soory not sure where to post this - any tips for changing a strip light? i've got the new bulb and starter switch. thanks

The old type you have to pull one of the end caps away so the tube drops out and the other newer type you twist the tube and it drops away. Make sure the light is switched off as there could be some charge left in the fitting from the inline capacitor, oh and when you change the tube always change the starter as an old starter will sometimes not start a new tube and make sure the starter is right for the tube as there are different types for the size of tube.
If the tube is between 6" and 5ft then you need a 4-65 watt starter and if the tube is 6ft or 8ft then you need a 70-125 watt starter.
