You want someone like a Freight Forwarder. If you are in the UK you can look up in Yellow Pages. I used to work for Davies Turner which runs trucks all over Europe, but there are loads of companies. Should take about a week if the package isn't time sensitive and is usually cheaper than post/couriers.

There will be freight forwarders in Italy as well that will run to the UK. Most UK firms have a partner firm in each European country. Just look up in an Italian phone book for a transport firm or go looking round local industrial estates, you'll find something.
