Conday oven problem

I have a Candy F211 fan oven which was working fine until earlier tonight. The oven heated up then just cooled back down again (the fan & light were still on). The grill still works fine so the heating element is ok. Can anyone offer any advice please?

I would have a guess that the grill heating element and oven heating element are two separate items - It is possible to have one working without the other - in a fan oven the heating element usually surrounds the fan itself.
It does in my oven.
