Thats very much the case. I used to listen to a lot of talk radio and every day they would have a different organisation on talking about their day. Generally its trade organisations trying to whip up a bit of interest in a particular product. So for example the British Farmers Association will decided to have National Chip Week and target that as a good time to get advertising into the media for maximum effect. For exmple this week is national salad week and Raymond Blanc as invented a new salad which costs 635, there will be a slight change of ingrediants and this will become a McSea'n'Earth salad at McDonalds for 1.59 (Honest)
