Has anyone got a schematic of a Sigma f 1.4-5.6 70-300mm macro zoom lens? Mine needs repairing and although I've bought another, I wouldn't mind repaing this one and keeping as a spare.

Cheapest repair price so far is 65 (inc VAT) + pp.

Have you tried the Sigma website?
I must admit I have not looked, but I recall there being plenty of schematics on their site when my hubby purchased a lens last year.

Yes. I even phoned them, but all they done was refer me to their services dept - hence the 65.

I found one site after 2 hours surfing, but the e-mail address wasn't recognised.

There isn't a repair manual for it either. Oldtime cameras have only got instruction manuals.

Thankyou for your response, though.
Steve just out of interest do you know how much that lens is worth (new or second hand)? My dad wants me to sell his one that he got as a present so any info would be helpful!

Sigma f4 to 5.6 70 - 300 macro zoom lens (not 1.4 as above).

I paid 154 from Jessops. May be able to get it cheaper elswhere, though I haven't seen any on e-bay.

I would pay to have this repaired, but its the second time in 3 years that its developed the same fault. I bought it second hand about 5 years ago when I purchased my Minolta 500i. I think I paid about 100 for it.

Thank you for your reply.
