Freeview cutting out

Why is it that everytime my parents' telephone rings, their freeview box cuts out!? Is there any way of solving this? Thanks

its probably because their telephone line is connected directly to the box. if you put a filter on and then plug the phone line in it shouldn't happen

unless the phone they are using is a cordless phone, that could be causing the interference. try using an old fashioned plug in one and see if that helps.
