My husband has scrapped the side of our car, the paint work has come off and it's gorged a bit of the metal away. It's starting to rust a bit as well. What is the best way to fix this and does anyone know how much it might cost?

it depends on how much damage,is it just a wing,or all the way along.
You could visit a small body shop, I did this to a company car, and rather than own up, I had it repaired myself, the owner took pity on me, and didn't charge me any vat.

Even so you are looking at between 150 and 200.
i recommend these guys, our company use them
