Yes, I have no excuse, and I'm sure there'll be plenty of people telling me to just accept the points/fine because I broke the law, but am a bit miffed.
Last Friday night at about 10pm I was caught by a camera doing 90 in a 70: the road was deserted and the camera is not in an accident black spot, and is therefore just a cynical revenue collecting exercise.
What would happen if I appeal? Also, how much is the fine/ how many points I can expect?
Just a point of order. What 'road' has a 70 mph speed limit or were you referring to the motorway which I doubt would have been very quiet at 10pm on a Friday?? Sorry to ask, just curious?
Just a point!

your answer is a silly one willow because I was asking a question, on which I was eliciting answers, not damn fool statements. If you can't provide an answer to a question, just move on.
That was a bit hissy - sorry - no excuse other than was a bit hungover when I posted that, and lots of people did agree. I am penitent, have accepted the punishment for the crime, and am being a lot more careful now.
