Astra 1800 16 valve DOHC 1994. Cutting out on idle. drops revs when you ease your foot off the accelerator as though it is cutting out for a split moment and then jerks back to it's normal revs when i accelerate. i've changed ignition leads, spark plugs, fuel filter and airfilter. any suggestions? thanks

Blocked carburettor idle jet/fuel injector? It sounds like fuel starvation at idle setting to me.
faulty throttle position switch or the injection relay playing up. apparently its the purple one in the fuse/relay box
