ebay ends with no bids/relist?

If i forget to bid on an item on ebay that ends with no bids and no sale - can i contact the seller to sell it to me -or do they have to re -list it again?

You can contact the seller and ask them to relist either as a straightforward listing, or with you as the 'named buyer' so only you can bid.

Don't accept any offer to buy away from eBay - you will have no protection at all if you lose your money.

I suggest you use a free sniping tool such as Just Snipe which you set up to place your bid in the last few seconds - that way you won't forget to bid

You can also contact the seller and ask for a "buy now" price, remember also to ask for postage and packing costs. And pay using PayPal, you get extra protection that way and it is very easy to set up an account.
