Was walking round Lakeside today and in the middle of the concourse on the benches was this women about 30ish Breastfeeding openly, now im no prude but i do not want to see a Lactating Nipple when shopping!i looked around to see if a Camera crew was filming, but no,kids were sniggering Parents embarrassed, Toilets or Baby room would surely would be more appropriate!
In the store where I work we are not allowed to request that a nursing mother moves once she has started breats feeding, if a mother asks if there are facilities where she can breats feed we have to direct her to the mother and baby room rather than the baby changinf facilities.
lol @ Legend! Got an image of you in my head now stompe ! ;-) sorry!
Have to say, Mums should have the right to breastfeed where ever and whenever they have to, however, i do think it can be done discreetly to save any embarrassment. No need for everything to be on display. Would it have bothered if you could just see the baby against the breast and nothing more or is it purely the fact that you could see everything?
Stompe the lady didnt whop her tits out in the main shopping area, she was thoughtful and didnt think that people would be watching on a secluded area or was it??
We all have nipples! In case anyone noticed. Just a shame men cant breastfeed their babes. I agree with Chuck though, it is the most natural thing in the world, they were invented long before artificial feeds !! If only all mothers could breastfeed...but not all can. If you dont like to see it, avert your eyes, or change the channel !
