I have a big barn, about 70 foot high, I need to paint the outside of it. I was going to buy an industrial paint sprayer on ebay, not sure what kind of pressure I need or any machines/paint type that would work well. Can anyone help? Do I need scaffolding? Cheers

I've painted our barn and twice the house with a sprayer.  I found that the "airless" sprayer works the best, but they are expensive to buy.  A good quality one in the US is about $500.  But they can easily be rented for about $50 for the day, and since you only use it once every 5 or 6 years, renting makes the most sense. They don't waste as much paint since they don't produce overspray.  Additionally, they are self contained and don't need a compressor.  I painted a barn requiring 35 gallons of paint in a day and one half.  I did have some scaffolding that I placed on the back of a truck.  If one has a fork lift or front end loader and has a good operator it makes the job go quickly as well...  Best of luck with the project...
Im not too sure about the srayer, but i painted my large shed a while back with some shed paint from TA Paints. Their paint is great, it is still vibrant and showing up well on my shed even in this weather!

I hope this helped :)
