Hi all . My house is heated with storage heaters; they are connected to a central digital meter which records both domestic and heating readings. My problem is that now that all my heaters are switchet off I am still getting a reading as if something was still running, it is not a great deal about 100 units a month but over a year that could cost about 60....I have checked all the individual switches and they all appear to be off so I'm stuck for an answere

Are you sure your meters are not set up such that ALL your domestic night time usage gets routed through the night meter? If so, this covers not only your heating usage (zero in summer) but also those appliances that are 'on' 24/7 - like the fridge?
The night rate is for the whole house not just the heaters. You just have a time switch between the 2 meters. Can you see the meter turning? If so you should only see one at a time moving.
