pain in the neck!!!! hubby just had an apple mac pro, hes wanting to know how to bookmark things, in my words save websites to favourites, any ideas?

If he is using Safari as a browser click the + sign left of the web address. If he is using Firefox click the star to the right of the web address

thanks for that, however, he now wants to know where it saves a webpage to as it doesnt appear under the bookmarks tab?

There are two bookmark lists. One on the bar above the webpages (bookmarks bar) and the main bookmarks list (including the bookmarks bar) which displays when you click the pages icon on the left under the forward backwards arrows. The web page addresses will be stored in one of those depending on what was chosen when you saved bookmarks when you clicked the + sign as in the first answer. Open the bookmarks icon (either by pressing the page icon on the left or by clicking bookmarks and show all bookmarks in the top menu.
