Friday, and no Six Nations to look forward to. :-( Which in a way is not too bad, because tomorrow we have to go down to the canal tomorrow, along with all the other boat crews, for our annual refresher on 'man overboard' procedure. Then its lunch in the Stables café.

Have a happy day everyone.

Morning WBM - up in the middle of the night sitting in front of a board of beads etc as I can't get jewellery designs out of my head. Ridiculous as I really need my sleep. Sounds like a good weekend for you - and I'm sure you have a hearty appetite by lunch. It's a weekend of badminton matches for my kids here so it will be moms taxi !

Morning peri. That's a talent worth having! Well done mum, important games to be played.
It'll be good fun on the canal tomorrow, it always is, although there is a serious side to it of course. The Stables will be very busy!
Any plans for a holiday this way soon ?

Not as such. We usually go on a whim when we have some time to spare. there is a good chance this year . . . at the moment! Last year we were just too busy.
That's a good complaint I suppose. we've no holiday booked yet but will desperately need one once the summer arrives.

I can recommend Gloucestershire. You may even be able to witness the famous Severn bore! The little 'uns would love that, and it is spectacular.
I do love the UK for holidays - you've such a lot to offer - something for everyone. The little ones aren't so little anymore - my youngest will be 13 next weekend. Time is flying.

Wow! Scary, isn't it!! One of our grandsons is 18 tomorrow, and off to university later in the year. It only seems like a few weeks ago I was teaching him to cook. He was 7 then! Tempus fugit.
I am going to try get an hours rest before everyone gets up so I'll say bye for now - have a lovely day and weekend.

Morning ladybird and northernmonkey.
I make a point of staying dry Ladybird. you can't take liberties on the water, it won't let you.

That's why this thread is called the early bird thread northernmonkey. There are a lot of us up and about at this time. it is the best part of the day. The sun is just above the skyline now and the countryside is bathing in it's warmth. the frost is already melting and will soon be nothing but a memory.
Ahhh so poetic WBM xx

It's just as it is ladybird. It's so beautiful here xxx

Yo, you WBM and co... CD in da house... Sorry, accidently put radio one on there for a minute rather than two. Looking sunny in the capital this moring and for the first time this year, I've woken up and noticed it's not dark :c)

I'm just checking the weather for the next few days in Plymouth where I will be going tonight to see my lovely cousin.
