How can I get emails?

I don't seem to get email notifications of answered questions. I'm sure there used to be a button 'subscribe to this thread', but it seems to have disappeared. Thanks.

Subscribe to question is up there ^ right next to post answer.

The facility was very hit and miss anyway. I don't see the need for it and don't want it. If I ask a question I'll check on AB for answers. I open AB more often than I check my emails anyway.
Clearly though some posters ask a question and then seem to disappear without apparently ever participating in the thread ever again, so perhaps they sit waiting for an email rather than check AB.

I've just had a couple of emails telling me I had responses (a few days ago) to my question.... although I don't remember asking this particular question- I thought i had sonly subscribed to it. Anyway the point is some emails do go out occasionally
