http:// bar at top of page.....

Why does the http:// bar & all the other quick links keep disapearring & it only comes back when I hover the curser at the top?

It's not usually like this. What's gone wrong?

You've switched to full screen mode, switch back by pressing F11.
By the way, it's called the Address bar
